PROMOTION POLICY

CLASS LKG TO II : There will be no formal exam however the academic session is divided into three evaluations. The child will be evaluated as per Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation guidelines laid down by DAVCAE, New Delhi.

CLASS III & IV : The academic session is divided into four Periodic Tests without final or half yearly examinations. The child will be evaluated as per Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation guidelines laid down by DAVCAE, New Delhi.

CLASS V : The academic session is divided into four Periodic Tests and Annual Examination at the end of the year. The child will be evaluated as per Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation guidelines laid down by DAVCAE, New Delhi. The Periodic Test will comprise of pen paper tests and internal assessment including various scholastic & co-scholastic areas.

CLASS VI TO VIII : The child will be evaluated as per the guidelines laid down by DAVCAE, New Delhi with regular Periodic Tests. The DAVCAE will conduct Term End Examination.

SECONDARY SECTION (IX-X) : The academic session is divided into three Periodic Tests & Year end Annual Examination. The Student has to secure 33% marks out of 80 marks in each subject as per CBSE Board.

SENIOR SECONDARY SECTION (CLASS XI/XII) : The academic session is divided into two Terms & five Periodic Tests. The weight age to the Periodic Tests & Terms will be 20 (PTs)+ 30(Term 1)+50 (Annual) for the final result. The final term paper from DAVCAE, will include the full syllabus for the year. Each student will need to score at least 33% in theory and 33% in practical exam in Science, Commerce and Optional subjects for promotion to Class XII. The marks allotted for projects in different subjects will be according to CBSE norms.
